I Am Poem

I am a creature in God’s eyes
I wonder why we can’t come together
I hear the horrible things that little children say
I see me judge people that judge others
I want to make this world a happy place
I am an honest man
I imagine bad things will happen toward
People that do wrong
I feel pain when people are hurt
I touch people’s hearts when I do nice things
I worry about what the future will be like
I cry when I know someone that leaves this world
I am a strong young man
I understand how our society works
I say things to cheer people up
I dream that we all can come together
I try my best to do things right
I hope we can understand each other
I am a creature in God’s eyes
