$2.84 a gallon is still expensive!! The place where I purchased kerosene for my space heaters has removed their pump so I don't know what the price will be down this way. If an indication of how cold it's going to be this year is by the amount of acorns and hickory nuts I'm seeing, we will be having some cold weather! The squirrels have been on a mission for several weeks now gathering their winter feed, and striping the bark of my cedar trees for their nests. Looks like winter may come early this year. We have already had 3 frosts, and 4 mornings where the temperature was down in the low 30s.
