My family had Thanksgiving at my Mom's last Saturday because Will went into the hospital on Monday and we had no clue how long he would be there. I cooked the turkey and dressing and took it to Mom's so I didn't have to deal with a lot of leftovers.

Then on Thanksgiving we went to Ed's sister's who is so not a cook. She ordered the meal from a caterer...We had boneless turkey with a peppercorn, mustard and horseradish rub, ham with a glaze I wouldn't attempt to identify, cornbread dressing that tasted like stuffed crab, some kind of gourmet cranberry relish, a salad full of health food and a brie, mushroom and white wine soup. I'm thankful that I didn't have any leftovers to deal with...

My sister and I both had a grandson for the since there was no school. Matt and Jayden are about the same age so they play well together. We took them to see the movie Bolt in the 3-D version on Wednesday. I'm not usually a 3-D fan but this one was well done. If you get a chance to see it in 3-D go for it. You'll be dodging everything from cars to birds. Also they didn't have those old tacky cardboard glasses. They gave out black plastic polaroid glasses. The only thing there was a major chase scene early in the movie. If you get motion sick you're gonna feel a little queezy, but after that you'll be fine.
