... and a Happy New Year to everyone!

Sorry, Mikey, I didn't see this until late Friday night, so I guess you won't see this until you return. But, anyway, hope you have a great Holiday Season, too!

I took a snow day today as they were calling for some severe weather for our area. It was supposed to start yesterday at 3pm, then late evening, then closer to midnight, then it was daybreak today. It actually started just before 9am. By daybreak, I knew the kids had off from school, and I checked the weather channel when I got up. It wasn't looking good and I didn't feel like getting caught in bad conditions on my way home from work, so I didn't go in. Good thing, too, cuz we had about 5" of snow, then sleet and freezing rain, then more snow. It finally ended sometime this evening. I'm not looking forward to cleaning off my car and driving to work in the morning. I know the plows have been out, but with the temps, I'm sure it'll be slippery in spots. Guess I'll just have to be extra careful. Maybe I'll change my route to work in the morning.

Stay warm, everyone! :)

CB
