Thanksgiving week has become the longest week of the year for us. I love the thought of considering the things we have to be grateful for. Stopping to think of them is meaningful and something we should do more often and I love the time with family. BUT the obligations that seem to come with Thanksgiving are endless... Ed's family is doing this. Mine is doing something else. Each of my daughters are pulled different directions. My Mother-in-law refused to eat anything. I think a lot of her mood was that the weather was cool and rainy.

Mikey, we've got leaves too. I'm not sure we'll ever get them all up... heck I'm still arranging furniture and finding homes for all of our stuff. I seriously need the leaves for compost so I can grow a great banana tree again next year.
