Subject: Everybody ready?

We had a snow/ice storm on Thu, but all it did around here was close schools for the day. We also left work early (by 1pm). There were several accidents because it seems that several drivers out there think that they can drive normally in icy conditions even if they have 4-wheel drive. (sigh! some people!)

Now, this weekend, we're supposed to get socked with a nor'easter starting this evening. Hopefully I can get out of work early enough to stop by the grocery store for the week's shopping, since we probably won't be able to do it tomorrow. Keeping fingers crossed that the storm isn't gonna be too bad.

Batten down the hatches! :D
