feed & seed... I got prices on fertilizer for this year, 10-10-10, is a little over ten bucks for fifty pound bags. That's tripled since last year! I buy feed twice a month, and each time it goes up a dollar a bag! I paid $14.73 for a fifty pound bag of 20% pellets at Southern States Farm Supply week before last. I eat the eggs and use the manure on my garden, but it would be cheaper to get rid of the chickens and buy the fertilizer..... My buddy at the garden center has cabbage and broccoli plants, and onion sets already. I'll start planting in a couple of weeks. Oh yea, we're expecting some snow/ice later on this evening and into Friday morning. We can use the water! Still no Robins!
