Summer is just gettin' started here. The kids have one more week of school and it's mostly exams. Well, for my oldest anyway. He has half-days all week because of them. My youngest has only a couple exams so he gets half-days at the end of the week. The 9th is their last day. Wow... already, the end of school.

Some sad news, our one pair of Chinese Owl pigeons were setting on some eggs and 1 baby hatched. However, the 2nd day, it was gone! Just vanished. So the pair gave up on the 2nd egg which was probably just ready to hatch. That was our very first pigeon baby too, darn it! We have had terrible luck trying to get our pigeons to set eggs and hatch babies. Maybe, one of these days.

Well, gotta run and get some stuff done. Got to help hang shelves in my oldest's room, do laundry, vacuum, run to the herb farm, and work in the garden. Whew... and already it's hot!
