As a small child I lived across the river from Natchez. While it was fine 50 years ago (am I really that old???), it's not now. My Dad's sister lived there so we've watched the decline of Vidalia and Ferriday. It's been sad. We've had recent reports of things happening that should never, ever have happened. I wouldn't get caught over there after dark. Natchez is still great and one of my favorite places to escape to. Ed and I spent several days in a B&B-- Gosh I can't remember the name, but it was great! It had an 8 ft. antique bathtub sitting in the middle of the huge bathroom with a chandelier over it. Loved it!!

Course now, we never get to leave home together... Adventures like Natchez will be a thing of the past for a long time...
