Subject: Welcome to Hades!

Ok, what I mean is, it's as hot as Hades. At least here it is! When I got out of work on Sat, I climbed into my car, which was parked in the hot sun all day on a macadam lot. When I started it up, the thermometer said 104°! By the time I got home, it was down to 93, if I remember right. Yesterday, it was just as bad. The high was supposed to be like 95, but with the heat index, it was 104. Today the high is supposed to be 99! Ugh. I'm not sure what the heat index will feel like. Right now it's in the low 70's, but already, at 7:45am, it feels hotter. I have to go to the farm and clean out the horse shed. Gotta do that before it gets any hotter!

Also, we're on a severe weather alert. Possible severe storms with large hail. Lovely. I sure hope not! I don't have a garage to park in!

Ok, gotta run now, that my breakfast is done with. Stay cool!
