You can, if you wish, declare ANY writings to be, or not to be "holy" for you. You might, for example, declare that your local telephone directory is "holy" for you, because there is a lot of truth in it. The word "bible" implies that it is a collection of several books, like a small library.
..... Have you read the (2005) book by Bart D. Ehrman: "Misquoting Jesus. The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why."? This book was published by HarperSanFrancisco, a division of HarperCollinsPublishers.
