 The filly screamed in pain as he bit her and yanked her around. SHe lay on the ground where she had been flung, panting with fear. Her leg had been broken, she was in great pain.

The mare winnied in fear as the stallion troted near her. She nipped his forleg as he mounted her. When he dismounted she stood silently. SHe saw him go near her injured filly and winnied a warning.

As the filly was shook then dropped she lay motionless. Her light skyblue eyes glazed over and she emmitted a weak nicker. Her small back had been broken, and her short life was coming to an end.

The mare ran to her fillys side, nudgeing her gently to get up. Her strong legs buckled underneath her, and she cuddled with the small body till the soothing warmth left.
