And quite right too! Great, great night on Tuesday. A huge showing from the public of Hull who, let's face it, aren't renowned for getting off their apathetic arses when it comes to checking out live music. Each band played a blinder (I mean that without exception), and the whole night proved testament to the fact that there is still a scene out there somewhere to be had. The Frog we're probably the best I've seen them yet, and coming on to Highway To Hell was a masterstroke. Oh, and a big "hell yeah" to John 'Hellhammer' Dawson on the birth of the young 'un.

Finally, did anyone notice how good my kit sounded...
