Subject:Loughborough students

In response to psycho's e-mail. I think that to pick up on someones writing and spelling is ridiculous and the whole argument is becoming very personal. Fair enough you are entitled to your own opinion but to make statements about someone (katie) when you nothing about them is crazy, i do not even have to justify this but Katie is very intelligent and going to have a very successful career. In fact i find it quite SAD that you have nothing better to do than make comments like this!! food for thought ay???!!!!
Anyway talk about completely go off the topic of debate!

Just to get my opinion across to all e-mails, if i may. I am currently a Loughborough student and am in my 4th year of playing for the club. People keep harping on about all these amazing facilities that the university has, but no-one actually knows what kind of training we do or what facilities we actually use!! Last year the team was run by students alone, putting in our voluntary hours and we had to coach ourselves-(not really an advantage compared to most clubs is it???)we share a training pitch with 2 other teams at the same time, so dont even have half a pitch to work with! I think this shows that yes although we get support from the uni we all have commitment and dedication to do as well has we have done!
People think that we should just stick to BUSA league and FA cup, why should we if we have a good team spirit and are enthusiatic about playing and doing well, surely this is positive for the womens game on the whole, to have players and teams like this around the country. Also, a point made by others already but many teams go through changes in their teams especially in higher leagues such as the MCL, we have done it by the rules stated, it just unfortunate that ours happens to be later on in september, but why should we stop these players wanting to play? All teams go through their weaker moments due to injury and so on, but in terms of holidays, most of us stay in loughborough to play as we are commited to our club!
Also, in terms of helping out the community and local sides, many of us are qualified coaches and teachers who do assist and teach others, helping them to learn.
Anyway i appreciate everybodys opinion on the matter, but the fact is when can people get over some of these issues and actually play and enjoy football rather that creating a bad atmosphere within the league! After all football is what were all here for so lets get on with it!!!

Many thanks xxxxx
