Hi Michael. I commute daily from Aurora to Don Mills and Eglinton, not so far from Glendon actually. Depending on your hours of work, in the morning it'll take you anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 1/2hr, and you may add extra time in bad weather. The drive home is pretty much always an hour, unless you work till 7pm! I would suggest not taking the 404, but either Leslie or some other major street. there is traffic there too but at least the views are nice and forever changing with the seasons.

There are 2 Go Train leaving Aurora station in the am, quite early, and 2 coming back. Straight to Union Station in 1 hour. Then there are many Go buses on Yonge. You may want to check the GO website for schedules and fares.

Good luck!
