Okay, I've begun work on the press release... I've managed to get a bit written, but I still need a lot more material. I've been searching the Internet for the last five hours trying to find information on local cases, but I've only found information about the most recent cases, such as that of Donald Pete.
Also, I am debating on whether or not to bring into the press release a focus on racial prujudice by police officers. On the one hand, it more easily brings to light the actions and motives of officers... On the other, it implies that all cases are racially motivated, and somewhat downplays any that are not. I'd like to hear some opinions on this issue as well.
