Notes from the Oct. 22nd police brutality protest meeting!

My notes consist primarily of a list of tasks and due dates:

*flyers are due to be completed by oct. 15 or 16

*flyering at local businesses, hangouts, bulletin boards, etc, will commence at that time (oct 15 or 16)

*media advisory will be faxed by oct. 15 (I'm sorry, who signed up to do this?)

*David will write the first draft of the press release by oct. 15.

*The group will look it over and it will be faxed (and hopefully followed up on by phone) on oct. 19 or 20.

*an email announcement will be written and posted asap

*Keith will contact the Gazette to put the protest on the calendar.

*James will contact KGOU to see about placing a public service announcement.

*the protest permit is being handled by Keith, as is day-of logistics

*We discussed the protest being a march through downtown, to the police station, followed by a rally. It will be tentatively at 4:00 on October 22.

*Keith is also heading up protest entertainment and the benefit concert afterwards.

Did I leave anything out?
