Yeah theyre steepening the headtube to 72degrees and top tube is being legthend by a half inch, and then of course theres the usually "revolutionary new cable routing"

But I figure they wouldnt take the entire trials section of the norco website, thats not just the 853 right, its the evolve and the uni cycle and one more thing i cant remeber right now.

Mickey I'm pretty sure that it's just under contruction because you weren't really even supposed to see the new website yet. I went on yesterday in early morning and the trials section was there, but then later on at night it was gone. Prolly just under construction.

Hope so..
it would not be very good if they killed the trials program
(hell, the entire east free ride team rides the 853 frame, that must mean somthing is working)

I am wondering though if I should get the team trials, because I also do Street and sort of Djing sometimes and I herd you have to be really smooth with the team trials to not break it when doing these types of riding. What do you guys think? I love trials so much but I also love other types of riding and I would like the most universal bike that would let me do a little of each (mostly trials though).

Alright...

For the record, there will be some 2003 1/2 Norco trials bikes coming out...a late season release. instead of half-assing some bikes for the sake of making a deadline, we decided to offer some tweaks many riders will appreciate.

As for the Leech updates, it's Ryan's signature bike...he gets it how he wants it. More standover, steeper headangle (for suspension fork compatibility and better comp riding), tire clearance, top tube longer...all things he wanted. You'll see, it'll work amazing!

In the mean time, for all those of you who are stoked on the 2001/02 geometry, we have some of those in stock still and your dealers would be more than happy to order you one up!

As for the Evolve, it still lives in its 2002 state, and will be re-worked pretty soon. We're still battling on how/where to go with it. One way or another, it'll be pretty cool.

So, for the record, NORCO HAS NOT GIVEN UP IT'S TRIALS PROGRAM. In fact, I am now officially in charge of the product development for trials, so we are actually giving it more tinme and effort than ever before.

Norco loves trials...hell, we even wrote it into our 2003 catalogue intro!

Whoo hoo... Rich has joined the Biketrials.ca discussion board! and I am glad ot hear that you working on the trials program as youh ave been around for a long time. Hey if you ever want to write a story from the old days of quebec or trials we'd be glad to fire one up!

However, I still think Ryan is crazy with the changes... If I only had a signature bike. :~( It would rule... hehe
