I know this is a month later, and I hope this finds you in good health and spirits. I wanted to respond to your concerns, although I'm unsure if my response is needed for you considering the time that has passed. What you first need to understand is that if this spirit is of a fearful nature to you, it is not your father. It is an entity that is trying to reach you in a manner that it knows is going to affect you...your recently deceased loved one. I have been reached in my dreams in times of trouble by my loved ones who have passed on, but they were always a comforting presence, never threatening. My belief is that the Holy Spirit is using these dreams of my loved ones to comfort me in my times of greatest need. They also often provide a guide for me and I cherish these dreams and pay close attention to each detail. Because these dreams are such an important part of my life, I will tell you that there have been many times when I have been attacked using the same method. Dreams where my father has come to me and I instinctively know he is a demon and he is there to harm me...imagine dealing with the emotional impact of your father manifesting as a demon (he isn't but that is the manner in which I was attacked). It is very important to be able to discern for yourself which dreams are attacks and which dreams are of the Holy Spirit and deal with the dreams as such as they are. You will know by the feeling you get in your spirit what kind of entity is communicating to you through your dreams and if you be sure to listen only to the Holy Spirit you will not open yourself up to attacks from more malignant entities. I am no spiritual advisor, or guru, or whoever most would look to for advice. I am just an average person, with an extraordinary gift that my Heavenly Father blessed me with to have a knowledge of him and a very open line of communication with him. I hope what I say here helps you, or perhaps someone else because I was drawn here to this board and I was strongly drawn to respond to your post. Best wishes and you will be in my prayers.
