First, let start by saying I am a Christian and I am aware and fully understand what the Bible says about spiritual communication. I know this is late but it has puzzled me since it happened.
Mu mother passed away on Novembver 17, 2007. She died of lung cancer and she was in home hospice and I was her only caregiver. When she passed away I was there with her by myself singing and praying to her quietly rubbing her arm telling her I loved her and me and my son were going to be alright and it was okay for her to leave us, when she took her last breath. It was one of the greatest blessings that I have ever received. I was so happy that I was there and she knew that we loved her. She passed in our home, she was not alone and my labor of love in caring for her was done. She was 85 years old.

For several weeks after her passing I had dreams of her,mostly of her still being sick and me trying to take care of her. I can't remember thenm but know that they were always kind of troubling. One dream sticks out vividly in mind...

The dream was, I was standing in my mother's room sweeping whenI sensed something telling me to turn around. I turned around and looked out the door down the hall and my mother appeared. She was wearing a pair of flowered pink pajamas, which looked exactly like a pair that she owned. Her hair was totally white. She came in and she smmiled. I said "Oh you came to see me". She walked over and sat on the love seat that we had in her room and I sat down on the floor in front of her. I put my head in her lap and I was holding her hand and I kept telling her how glad I was that she came to see and I love you. I even told her you let your go white, because she was always a person who colored her hair. She never said a word she just kept smiling. I then woke up.
I still remember how good it felt holding her hand and laying in her lap. It didn't really matter that she did not speak, I was very happy to see her. When clearing out my mother's things I found those pink pajamas. I will cherrish them forever.

I only told a few people about the dream because it was so comforting and it touched my heart so very deeply. I have had some people tell me it was a demon, but I do not want to believe that something so beautiful was from a demonic spirit. I know this is old but I have just found this site. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and giving me the opportunity to tell my story even if you never respond.
