So, I misspelled a word. What does that have to do with the discussion.

If you were 25 and paying $3,720 per year for a $825 per month benefit, you would say it is a crisis. You add to that the fact that the system is running out of money and you have a big crisis.

President Bush's proposal is only a first step. We will need to make additional changes over the next 30 to 40 years. It took us almost 70 years to get where we are. It will take at least 30 years to correct the problem.
