I didn't mean to sound Like an attack on anyone. But I do seem to remember reading that the City Counsel and Mayor of Pineville did vote for a raise for themselves. I just want to know if that is the truth. Seems that there might be others who want to know also. America was founded on the ability of its citizens to question the Government and if what the other person said about this being some kind of smear campaign I am wondering if this is America. People have a right to know the truth and to question those people who work for the people. When they become so powerful that its considered a "smear" to question their actions then its time to question their power. However, I meant no smear by asking what I asked. I did read the other postings with interest because there seems to be al ot of people who have questions about who is in charge in this city. I did not know that these questions could be asked on the radio . Tell me when I can call in and to what number. Thank you .
