Sweet Jesus. Alright, you want my entire speech, I replied more to an ignorant racist a couple strangs up, read it there. To summarize once more, Israeli. That is not(huge underline there) at all the same as Jew. It is not anti-semetic to have feelings against Israeli politics. Judaism has little to nothing to do with Israel anymore(again I elaborated more on this on my other reply). Amir Baraka said 4000 Israelis. There is a reason. A company employing 4000 people, and was an Israeli(not Jewish) ran company, worked out of the Trade Center. Two weeks before the attacks the company broke its lease(lost a lot of money to do it)and moved out. So saying two Jewish friends died there means nothing. The line refers to the Israeli company that was not there. The reason Amir believes this to be is because Israel knew that something horrible was going to happen to the WTC. This is mirrored in the documented fact that for months before the attacks Israel was vehemently warning America of upcoming attacks. So it is not to say Israel was behind it, but had intelligance saying there were going to be attacks and they did strongly warn the US. Bush payed no attention. And a few weeks before the attacks Israel further warned of terrorists hijackings. When it became obvious Bush was going to do nothing about it, the Israeli company uprooted for their own saftey because of a strong warning from their government. Amir Baraka is simply asking why the American government didn't give its people a similar warning or try to save its people the way Israel did for that company. I don't think he believes Israel was behind the attacks, he has even said that he didn't. He didn't make any anti Jewish remarks in the poem. He said nothing of Jews at all. So you have not proven any point by trying to show how a line you don't understand is totally untrue. Nazism has nothing to do with anything. Amir Baraka is not ignorant, I just think some of the people reading is poem are. Please dear God at least try to understand what is being said before you rail angrily against it. And Christ in a hand basket, know the difference between Israeli and Jewish. That is all I have to say, I'm spent.
