I'd like to point out that I don't respond to every comment about wrestling with disregard, in fact you'll notice I tend not to reply, there are only so many times you can have the same argument. Which brings me back to the case in hand. I don't know if you realise this, but I get the impression that you think you are well known, and that if any of us, though usually me, writes something to which you take offence, then we have done so with the sole intention of getting a rise out of you. I point out the example of my opinions on the catholic church, which were in no way directed to annoy you. I very rarely, unless replying to one of your messages, bear you in mind when I make comments, so it's very unusual for me to write things which cater to you tastes. This said, you are the only person who takes issue with inoffensive comments, and I am forever finding myself in a position of having to put forward another side of the argument. You are right about me not taking crap off anyone, so I'd like to point out what characteristics you appear to me to have. You take yourself very seriously, any joke sending you up seems like a personal attack, you appear to think that by having these arguments with me you are fighting a moral battle, you view yourself as a guerrilla, fighting the war against evil and that you are persecuted for having strong, and in your opinion just, opinions, though don't seem to see that other people don't want to engage in battles over what is good and right.
I can't be bothered to argue with you, neither of us get anywhere, you don't think I'm funny, I think you go out of your way to cause a fuss and love the way you become demonised. What you take offence to seems very arbitrary to me, you don't like the use of the word ring in connection to homosexuality whereas I have no idea how people can stand to watch wrestling, but I don't engage Sally in a debate every time she wants to watch King of the Ring, or any other programme of that nature.
You seem to belive that I don't like anything that is remotely entertaining, which once again comes down to a question of subjectivity, you probably don't know very much about my tastes in anything, except perhaps music if you pay attention to these forums. If you want to hear a suggestion from me it is (don't read on, however, if you don't) that you, being a catholic, should be a little more 'catholic' in your attitude. That is what catholic means, all-encompassing, so the buzz words for today are tolerance and acceptance.
One last thing, I don't think, and never have thought that you were gay, I'll reiterate that I know very little about you, but that's not an invitation for you to change that.
You think one way, I think another, and it's quite unlikely that you'll have the 'pleasure' of seeing me around any time soon, so don't hold your breath.
