They must get the quest also, but its a variation: They get the protect the gembearer quest. The level 20 and under will also pick up an emerald and hand to the totem as proof they protected the gembearer. The level 21+ has to be the first person to hit the totem, then the under 21s. The level 21+ turns in the emerald first, then the unders. Everyone gets 10,000 exps.
