Also, pretty and fun, are totally different.

My biggest problem now is reading all the different player opinions from various boards. Once I heard about the leveling by questing, I thought I was sold. As I read what other players didn't like about the game, and as I play AC1 again, I am noticing things about AC2 that really bother me.

1. need to group with a healer.
2. the extreme damage the high level mobs do.
3. current ineffectiveness of tanking at high levels
4. just not having healing kits
5. lack of storage
6. limitations of templates
7. console like playability
8. chat windows (though i know they are getting improved)
9. boredom of only taking one mob at a time, and has to be around your level.
10. lack of cool gear (I read these will be changed)
11. going to take months of updates to fix most of these issues.
12. 3 different islands separating content, and stuck with the bleak winter scene on Linvak for high levels.

Things I do like:
1. less down time for non-hunting/questing stuff (no comps or arrows to make)
2. graphics
3. new monsters
4. ingame quest panel
5. lots of quests with exp rewards that are re-doable

That's all i can come up with. I will continue to play AC1 for the next couple weeks. My decision to buy will be last min probably.
