It is recognized as a holiday at the bank I am contracted to but not as one at my contract house. My contract house does however allow for certain Client Approved Holidays and Veterans Day is one of them. If I so choose, I get the day off with pay but if I decide to work the day, my contract house will give me a $200 bonus(I don't make double time for working holidays.
