Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is at this time that I write to you with a heavy heart. Recently, Scott Matheson's mother became ill and Scott's presence was needed in Minnesota to be with her during this time. Scott returned home this past Friday was a week ago with not so good news and that was the last time that I had heard from him. Monday night several people inquired as to how he was doing and also how was his mother doing and at that time I didn't know. Well, I am sad to say that Scott's mother passed on this past Monday. The following message is from Scott;

Hello Bill,

Sorry I haven't had the chance to update you; however, as you are aware I had to return to Minnesota a 2nd time. My Mother passed away Monday night with all of us by her side. She left the earth peacefully knowing we were all with her. Was the saddest day of my life; however, I know she's now with her parents and my Dad in a much better place.

She really loved the flowers the Chapter sent and everyone commented that it was the largest bouquet they saw delivered in the hospice unit of the hospital. I thank you very much for bringing more light into her life as she laid in her room.

We are having her funeral Thursday and they expect over 600 people to attend, she was really loved in this community.

Gloria and I will return Sunday and I'll see you Monday night at Chrome Night to thank you for everything.

My best Regards Brother

Scott

I would just like to thank everyone for the kind messages that were sent to Scott and Gloria in their time of need and I would like to ask for everyone to keep Gloria and Scott in their thoughts in this difficult time. Sometimes we take life for granite and it is times such as this that brings it back into perspective as to just how special each and every day that we have is.
