I do agree with you that the responsiblity of the chapter should not rest on just 2 or 3 people, however, in my situation I am working 2 jobs and my wife is going to school and also working 2 jobs. Between the two of us we have 5 children, and three of them require financial support. Due to my work schedule I can't make the BBQs and I can barely make the rides. I wish I had more time to devote to the chapter, but I don't. I do however look forward to a time when I can devote more time to the chapter, until then I will ride when I can, and attend meetings when I can. One thing that needs to be considered, not everyone in the chapter has every weekend off or for that matter not everyone has a large amount of disposable income to participate in some of the planned activities. We need to remember that not everyone is the same, everyone is in a different situation.
