The hum of the forest with life, the wind softly blowing and swaying the trees. Misty, head gently laid on her paws, drifted off into a peaceful slumber. She woke up with a jolt. Darkness was about her. Crickets chirped, and an owl hoots mournfully from a nearby tree. "Did I sleep that long?" She wonders to herself in disbelief. Standing up and shaking the sleep from her stiff muscles, Misty sets off at a trot to the meadow. The wind sighs eerily through the shadowed trees. Good thing she stayed near the edge of the forest. Breaking through the undergrowth, she leaves the shadows behind and emerges into the pale lit meadow. Walking tiredly to the meandering stream, Misty takes a quick drink. The reflection of the almost full moon shimmers in the clear water. Seeing Sleet, she walks to the still, sleeping form and curls up beside her to rest.
