Flinging libations at stone idols
The gods roar past on their Harleys
Pass amongst mortal strangers
With leather legs trapped
Wrapped around chrome waisted
Babylons
Their breath a bitter wind
Cloaked in this age of Kali Yuga
The burning message
Of naked eyes purpled
A whisper
A murder of angels
Victims of the Fall
We fuck in a whirlwind of their ripped
feathers
Bloodied wings plucked bare
Halos beaten into baubles
Worn around adrogynous wrists
And white throats of crosses
Erected, pricking the sky
Pounded into Adam's sunbleached skull
Lodged face down in first female pelvises
While we dance to the old rhythms
Labotomized
Civilized
Our porous skin oozing mortality
Hearts beating opiately
Holding our icons in mildewed embraces
Death under the flesh
Waiting to be unzipped
In time.
