Winter Shrouded Moons

Winter white and gray
frosted winds; cataract eyes
Fall's leafless solitude

I see wispy clouds
that taunt of your warmth as mock
fingers uncurling

Hollow distant wrongs
feed streams of pale pained edges;
our torn tearing slowly

Yet life brings your face
Sword pierces up from the ice pond
Compass blade glinting

Smell of tepid sun
Seeds split; fetal green in earth
Warmth backed my chilled thoughts;

Rarity awaits
within smiling eyes unfurling
harmless, endless depths
