Date Posted: 18:52:00 03/11/03 Tue Words to an old verse used in elocution lessons in late 50's to early 60's "Late late last night, while the whole world slept Along to the garden of dreams I crept I pulled the bell of an old old house Where the moon dipped down like a little white mouse And while I waited and shook with cold through the door tripped me - just eight years old ------- and here the words are lost.. Does anyone have a copy of the words - I recited this in Parramatta late 50's early 60's - while at St Patricks School North Parramatta. I would like to include in a keepsake record for my children.
