Julie Adam plays Mozart Sonata in A minor K. 310 Beethoven 33 Variations in C Major on a Waltz by Anton Diabelli, Op. 120 Julie Adam was born in Hungary where she received her early musical training. After some years in Australia where she studied piano with Alexander Sverjensky at the Sydney Conservatorium, she made London her base, performing throughout the UK, in Europe and the USA. She broadcast regularly as a soloist for BBC radio. Since her return to Australia, Julie Adam has continued her musical activities: broadcasting for the ABC, giving recitals and concerto performances, taking part in chamber music, teaching extensively, adjudicating and coaching young instrumentalists. She has made a CD on the ABC Classics label. 2pm Sunday June 1 Pitt Street Uniting Church 264 Pitt Street, Sydney (between Park and Bathurst Sts) Tickets $15/ $10 conc.
