Hiya. I'm in charge of organising events for Cambridge Dancers' Club this year and I'd thought I'd publicise some of the major events:

CDC 24HR DANCE FOR BBC CHILDREN IN NEED
7pm Friday 21st - Saturday 22nd November
St Columbas Halls, off Downing Sreet Cambridge
We run a series of hour long workshops in a variety of dance styles (hip hop, salsa, scottish dancing, podium dancing ....) and people then donate money to attend or get sponsored for dancing for the whole 24hrs. We usually get 200 people involved and raise £2000+ for children in need. For more details on the appeal see:
www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey
If you'd like to get involved and dance for 24hrs to raise money for charity then get in touch or see:
www.cam.ac.uk/scoieties/cdc

CDC CHRISTMAS BALL
7.30pm-1am Thursday 3rd December in St Ivo Centre, St Ives
Live band, plenty of dancing and hopefully Santa will be putting in an appearance!!

(Easter Ball: 11th March in St Ives with a professional demo couple)

ADVANCED BALLROOM WORKSHOP BY CHRIS & HAZEL
Sunday 25th January 2-5pm
Parkside Community College, Cambridge
Quickstep & foxtrot: choreography & tips from the world champions.
Cost likely to be £15 for 3 hours. Price TBC.

(Advanced Latin Workshop likely to be held at the start of May)
