I think the "old" Cardiff will be stronger this year than last. If I'm not mistaken yet another open circuit couple is making their way there (latin this time), while i don't know of anyone leaving.

While I'm sure Cambridge will have a good team they're loosing probably as many people as Oxford are (but neither should be counted out). On the other hand, IC won the beginners title last year (for the first time) which suggests that they're getting better with a lot of home-grown talent coming up.

Anyway, wouldn't want to bet on anything, but i'd say that on paper Cardiff are favourites, then a group of OxImpBridge, followed by Bristol, Sheffield, then probably Warwick & So'ton. Can't see any "new" Cardiff on the horizon quite yet, unless there is a group of experienced dancers joining a university that i haven't got on the list...
