I think the problem was that most of the people on here weren't at the IVDA meeting so they didn't realise - e-mailing seems like a bigger deal than posting here and if several people are asking the same question of each other it seems sensible to them. Don't take people moaning personally, it's more in the spirit of enquiry than attack - most people posting have been actively involved in running a comp (for example we're hosting SUDA this year) so they do understand, that's why they ask. And it's the case with every comp that people who've been around for ever do sometimes feel that the same comments are made year after year but with a new committee each time they get ignored so they're asking if it was a 'problem' that was being ignored or if there wasn't an option. If you watch here you'll find every other comp being pulled apart in the same way as the year goes on. And praised once they're over.
