I had a friend in Cambridge who used to fly from Stansted to Newcastle to get home, as he was convinced it was easier, it was also occasionally cheaper than the train, or more or less the same price. Perhaps we can all book cheap flights to europe with ryan air and have an outdoors comp some place sunny.
