May I point out that you said Dave W and Laura J won't be on Oxford's latin side anymore. That's what i was referring to when i said maybe you didn't have full information. Of course I may have just got it wrong.
I agree, except for Varsity, where there's a bit of strategy involved in putting people in heats, there's no point keeping your couples secret at all.
Even more sillily, I don't quite get why dancers themselves keep saying: "Ah, no, won't dance this year. Of course not, I'm doing this and that and Open Circuit and need to move on and ladidadida...", when they're so blatantly gonna be back. What's the point in that?
How is it good for team morale to have people dancing who say they didn't really want to do it anymore? Or did they not mean that?
Sigh, the dancing world is strange. Lots of passionate and difficult people.
