Correction. You have a rotating presidency of a nominal group of self-policing members. There are no permanent fixtures - even the bank account from each year is closed and the contents transferred to a new one each year.

It is really no wonder that for a 30 year-old organisation with 30 different complete changes of management, no permanent members or account or anything, and representing a rapidly changing group of people, that finding permanent anything is rather difficult.

Each committee base their constitution they publish on whatever last year gave them (not knowing if its up to date or not) and from their records of changes voted in.

I'm not saying its anyone's fault, but do please be realisitic - its a tiny little organisation with a miniscule account in comparison to the size of events it is supposed to run and the number of people it is supposedly 'in-charge' of.

PS If you're concerned then do consider getting your society to bid for IVDC next year and get an exec. that you'd be personally happier with...
