How's about some of these overpaid jocks taking a pay cut?......$4.5 million US a year?...give me a break.....it's ego money and nothing more.....yes I know that they are in the entertainment business, they are extremely talented, they have a shorter working careers...blah, blah, blah......but what about the brain or heart surgeon that has trained for perhaps 10 or more years, performs a real service to society....and maybe earns a tenth of what these jocks do?.....our society has got our priorities completely bass akwards, hockey as a religion in Canada or no.....
