Ok, i completely agree with you, but at the same time i completely disagree. I don't think a life is a life and there isn't a differentce between the death penalty and abortion. They are completely different. Yet, I think abortion is alright in many circumstances and i don't see any time when the death penalty is alright.

I think it is wrong to let anyone have an abortion, but i think if there are good reasons then it should be allowed. First of all, the obvious things like rape, insest, etc., or any time health issues are involved. I also think that if someone if under aged they should be able to have an abortion. Most likely, teens don't have means to support a child or experience to be a good parent. Yes, there is adoption, but there aren't enough adopters out there for all the babies that are being born. Also, there are many cases where the mother carries and gives birth to the child with the intent to put it up for adoption and then can't bare to once the baby is born. Also, having a baby can severely mess up the body of someone who is really too young to have one. They shouldn't have to through that. But if a teen gets an abortion there should be more involved like a class they have to take or something along those lines so they would really learn from the experience. After all, the main reason i'm pro choice is because if i were to become pregnant, which i won't, but if i did i would want to be able to get an abortion. Sure, i would feel really bad, but not as bad as making a child live and have to deal with the fact that they weren't wanted, which doesn't mean i wouldn't love them, but it would still have a huge affect on them.

All i have to say about the death penalty is that a punishment is suppose to help someone learn from their mistakes, right? Well, it isn't a good punishment because after it they are dead. And nobody else learns from it either because it isn't a reality until you are convicted and then its too late. If people did learn from other people having the death penalty, the crime rate would go down, but it hasn't, so it obviously doesn't work.
