Ok, so it is possible not to need church money, but i was just pointing out that the money churches do get doesn't usually go into converting people, which is what was beign suggested. The churches use the money for many important things. And while i see nothing wrong with your church, i have a feeling many people in my church would object to it. We already have a church building and the members don't want to give it up. Your ministers don't work full time as ministers, do they? They probably need another job in order to support themselves since as a minister they are not payed. Our minister works full time. He does more than just preach on sundays, he visits invalid members, cousels people, works on church publications, teaches confirmation, and more that i can't think of right now. I think he definitely deserves to be payed for all this. My last Pastor worked so hard, people would call her at home in the evening and expect her to do things for them or give them money. She helped many people who came to the church looking for food with her own money because the church couldn't afford to. Nobody expected her to do these things, she just did them out of the goodness of her heart. She also had three kids to support, so she really couldn't afford to be a volunteer. I'm not saying the ways of your church are wrong, I think the way your church runs is a really cool thing and i might like to try it sometime. But I think it isn't practical for most organized churches, thats all.
