Life is not precious to someone who wants to die. I know this from experience. When you habitually cut your wrists, not too deeply, but halfway hoping that maybe you'll cut them too deep and bleed to death, or when you drink yourself into oblivion at every chance, and overdose on pills because you just don't want to be awake/alive, life is torture. When your parents are worried about you, so they send you to a counselor, you pretend you're fine because you don't want anyone to know how crazy you are. Meanwhile you still cut yourself and want to die. Life is not always precious.

You people who live sheltered, happy lives don't know what it's like to live a life you hate. Hold on to your innocence, you don't know how precious it is until you lose it.
