Improve speaker position due to room characteristics

Setup: You, your friend and some small pieces of tape.

Use: Sit in the listening position (e.g. sofa etc) and have a

conversation with your friend while he/she moves slowly in the

wanted area where to put the speaker. Normally you have a few

square feet to use, don't you? Then listen VERY carefully how

your friends voice sound like, and when it sounds most natural

you put a small piece of tape on the floor to mark the position. It

can be both close to the wall or a few inches/feet out. Try a

pretty large area if possible.

Then move about the same distance sideways as the distance

from the first speaker position to yourself in the listening

position. It will be like a triangle between the speakers and the

listener, but with the speakers a little bit closer from each other

than to the listener.

Do the same procedure for the second speaker, put the tape on

the floor and now replace the tape with the speakers, connect

and ENJOY!
