There is a fairly new book, "The Way the Wind Blew" by Ron Jacobs, Verso, 1997, that deals with the WU. It would also be useful to study the experiences of the Black Liberation Army and the George Jackson Brigade as they form part of the military history of the U.S. proletariat. It would also be useful to study the (ongoing) history of the armed struggles in Italy and Spain to get a perspective on struggle in the industrialized countries. Very few people on the U.S. Left, however, will talk about these subjects except to dismiss them.

At some point we plan to include some of this material in our archive; we have quite a lot of printed material from the PCE/r in Spain, but we need volunteers to help archive it. +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
