I personally dont have any bad feeling if Rick and Bruce are touring as "Foxton and Buckler's the Jam" (they were in the Jam, wheresnt they?) even if Im one of those who prefer the band to remain "The Gift" or another name.

What I judge as very ridiculous and very cash-in is when people like my friends the italian promoters (dont know if its the same there in Uk) are sending press releases where they talk of a Jam reunion. Reunion is not, obviously, it's more like the Doors without Morrison, with the only difference Weller is alive, and rocking, Mod bless him :O)

I dont understand why there is this "black or white" sensation around, like you have to stay on Paul side versus Rick & Bruce or viceversa. I will go and see R&B and Im sure I will enjoy it. It's a fun-revival (passion-less) project imho, but in the right perspective it will be fantastically enjoyable.

Weller is on a different level as he still creates music, and lives for it. And still he has that "spark". And what we "pretend" from him is consequently different and higher.
