Paul Weller and Graham Coxon have joined forces in collaboration, recording a new single for the Regal Singles Club.
The Regal Singles Club regularly releases a 7-inch single/digital download from a different artist every time, offering a one-off outlet to underground acts or special collaborations.
This time round, Weller and Coxon have come together to record new single 'This Old Town'.
The track also features the drumming talents of regular Oasis and The Who drummer, and son of Ringo Starr, Zak Starkey.
The track will be available for download from July 2, followed by AA sided 7" single release on July 30.
Limited to 5000 copies, the release will also feature tracks 'Each New Morning' (written by Coxon) and 'Black River' (penned by Weller).
Talking about the collaboration, Coxon said "As a long time admirer of Paul I never dared imagine getting a chance to work with him so I was bricking it when we first met...but he is an absolute gent and a shockingly great singer and musician. It's been a total pleasure."
Weller returned the compliment saying "I've always been a big fan of Grahams and love his work so it was exciting for me to work on something new with him."
