Subject: Jam Day, Weller Weekend, POW! May 19, 20

Fri 19th May
Venue: The Star Guildford Doors: 8.00pm
An intimate venue frequented by The Jam in their early days. This is a limited ticket event; don’t expect any on the door.
WELL A LIVE
Conceived in the summer of 2003 by massive Paul Weller fans John and Mark, the initial aim of the band was to be a 100% acoustic Paul Weller tribute both old and new, but, with the addition of Phil, Winston and 'Moggy' into the band,
this quickly developed into a Full-On Electric performance.
Sat 20th May – POW!
Venue: Univ’of Surrey “Main Union Building” Guildford
Doors: 7.30pm
THE GIFT – RETURN OF THE JAM’S RICK BUCKLER www.the-gift.info
with Russell Hastings and Dave Moore
Not since Dec ’82 has any member of THE JAM toured with a ‘FULL’ set of Jam classics many of which have never before been played album tracks such as ‘Dream Time, ‘Set The House Ablaze’ and ‘Happy Together’ as well as favourites such as ‘That’s Entertainment’, ‘Going Underground’ and ‘Down In The Tubestation At Midnight’ which live will feature Rick’s trademark drum solo. ‘The historical significance will not be lost on those whose lives were shaped and will forever be influenced by the Woking trio. A brilliant, evocative, emotional trip through the finest moments of The Jam’s career with one of the greatest drummers of our era.
