Subject: Message for SK - Graham Coxon

Just back from seeing Hard-Fi in Brighton - supported by Boy Kill Boy (who weren't bad actually) and 45 minutes of Graham Coxon who was outstanding... and VERY loud!! My 15 year old lad liked him too.

Hard-Fi were joined by Weller at Brixton recently, playing Malice - no such luck for us, but a bloody enjoyable evening, nonetheless!

[> [> AK... there's a few things Weller said back in those 'early' days!!! Mick Jones also joined them on one of the Brixton gigs on E= MC2 - which they also played (without Jones) last night. -- HS, 14:10:58 05/27/06 Sat

[> Yeh, Coxon is a total God, his Jam covers are like the originals with him on vocals. He is also a 'Proper' solo artist because he plays all the instruments himself. The only reason he's probably less popular with Weller fans than Oasis is because he wears glasses. -- SK, 17:56:15 05/30/06 Tue

[> [> Well I've still got the album you sent me a while back and have now been out and bought 'Crow Sit On Blood Tree', 'Happiness In Magazines', and the new one. My 15 year old lad thought he was superb and when he knew I'd bought the CDs he insisted that I put them on his ipod! -- HS, 19:40:46 05/30/06 Tue
